Coventry City 2 - 3 Leeds Utd ~ 6th Nov 2010 (Goals and highlights)

This is Coventry City vs Leeds Utd on 6th October 2010.

The excitement was spreading around the city as Coventry lay in 4th in the Championship and faced Leeds who's current form was hit and miss. A strong following of over 6,000 Leeds fans spurred Coventry on to bring in their highest league attendance at the Ricoh since it opened five years ago - 28,184.

The game started badly for City, conceding on 3 mins to a Howson header. Things got worse before half time as Snodgrass curled in a fabulous goal from the right on 40 mins.

Coventry rallied at half time and came back out fighting, with Lukas Jutkiewicz scoring his first goal for Coventry City from open play on 52 mins. McSheffrey had the ball in the back of the net not long after but was ruled offside. Minutes later, a slip from Keogh inside the box and a stray leg brought down Max Gradel to concede a penalty, which Gradel himself converted on 61 mins to make it 1-3. Coventry replied quickly with Ben Turner sliding the ball past Brown from inside the box to make it 2-3. Coventry peppered the Leeds goal towards the end of the game, but couldn't get the equaliser.

Final score: Coventry City 2 - 3 Leeds United.

Good day, shame about the result. Coventry slip from 4th to 5th in the Championship, Leeds climb to 8th on the brink of the play-offs.

@fez41 Simply pointed out the facts to you fez. For whatever reason, good or bad, Leeds still attract a crowd. This is what you were disputing.

As for the WACCOE, a simple google search will reveal the answer to you. We know were never the 'actual' Champions of Europe.
