thank you! oh lol they are look dirty because it's spray paint....

we had to spray paint them a long time ago for a show... and since then it has been chipping off... i only use these shoes for practice now

From what I know, most tappers use flat shoes. easier on the feet, i guess. In the u.s. heels are more for broadway dances, and stuff like that.

She's OK; but what is with this flat tap shoe thing? Is it an American thing? Generally in the UK women tap with cuban heels as a minimum, - even the kids! Grown women tap in 2.5 or even 3 inch heels.
