this song is from Uttarkashi district of Garhwal region. This folk song is related to the "selku" festival celebrated in "Bhadon" month in "Mukhba" village in the Ganga Valley.

  • Beautiful Garhwali song! All the shooting of this song has been done in the Ganga valley of Uttarkashi especially Gangotri dham and Mukhba village(of the priests of Gangotri)... Devoted to Sameswar Devta and Gangaji... the dance in between the video is called "Raaso" or "Tandi"(in Yamuna Valley) or "Nati"(in Jaunsaar and Mori block).. Thanks Rajneesh ji!

  • very sweet & beautiful song....
