On 09/24/07, the MONDAYS, garage/blues rock sensation of Carbondale, IL reunited on 500 S. Hays after being on hiatus for several months.

Note: The above was posted by Tom Vasilj. I, Andy Jones, wish to acknowledge the roughness of the recordings and performances on these videos, in particular my vocal perfromance (it was difficult to hear).

In this video: Fashion Statement (Ryterski/Jones)

REFRAIN:
If you want to be my fashion statement, baby
You can put me down any way you please
If you want to be my special lady, mama
Then roll on down.

When I look at you,
I can see that's it true
That you don't want me around.

Can't you see,
What you are to me?
You're my glue when I'm going down.

REFRAIN

I need to know,
Is your heart inside cold?
Or were those tears in your eyes?

REFRAIN

Please don't put me on the shelf
Please don't put me on the shelf
I love you and no one else
I love you and nobody else
Please don't put me on the shelf

REFRAIN

Cause you know I live in my mama's basement, baby
But that don't mean I don't want you around
So if you want me to be your baby,
Then let me know

  • There was a little strange cut...

Haha Andy did a little sexpot move..

Sounded great (besides for the obvious..mic turned down too low) Love the screaming.

  • That was when Kerosene and a Bottle and this were totaling just above ten minutes and Tom wanted to put them both on one video. He didn't think anyone would notice and I was like, "No no, don't do that. Just put them as separate videos." He just posted the wrong one. The correct one will be posted soon.

  • The cut wasnt that obvious..I just notice those things...

  • Lets hear it for the Canon XL1! Sounds like some early 90's stuff with all that voice distortion. I think I made Tom nervous when I looked into the camera...I learned that from Jon Bermuda Schwartz (the drummer in "Weird Al"). What energy.
