I know!!! the had so many good things about him, like, other than Ares, Hades was the most hansom god,he was known as the Weathy God, and he did have a soft spot for Persephone, like the time Onthros went to retreve his dead girlfriend. His music melted her heart, and she convinced Hades to make a good deal with the loverboy.
Other than that, he did have a few faults, but he is not abad guy!

@LyricalXilence I know right, in percy jackson hades wasn't supossed to be the bad guy but in the movie they made him the bad guy anyway :(
-
Zeus:its no point wasting your energy on such people like him
(later)
What?

@seraphiccandy21 its not like the evil step parent or relatve hasnt been done before, cindirella, lion king etc however none of those stores make you think of the sex involved, hercules could have done that but it just seems lazy to make hades a villain just cause of christianitys view of the underworld, how would people like a story of jesus that replaces important facts with characters from other religions, there would be complaints non stop.

Dude, its DISNEY.They are not really known for their in depth analysis of de facts. I mean if we are going to derp around with de show there is the fact that Hercules is only one of Zeus children and that his mother was in fact a mortal. The fact that he was created when Zeus disguised himself as the womans husband so he could have sex with her. The fact that Hera hated his guts and often hunted and tried 2 kill him because he was a reminder to her of Zeus infidelity.Stuff like that.

@seraphiccandy21 just cause there needs to be a clear villain, why does it need to be hades, ares and poesidon were much worse and would have made great bad guys as well, hades always gets made into a villain just cause anyone who rules the underworld must be the same as satan according to most film makers

Its Disney. there has to be an obvious good guy and bad guy. Bad guy, evil scheme, hero struggles, hero saves the day. Thats how it works.

@BigCalzone13 But, I thought he learned how hard it was to be a teenager, and learned to sympathize with Hercules and his troubles.

That kid is practically wearing a "smite me" sign!
How true.

Its James Woods....
Why is poor Hades always written as a bad guy. Just because he is god of the underworld does not make him the devil; he also runs the Elysian Fields.

And in the end, Zeus learned absolutely nothing.
