  • @caydn2 Isn't Apple just imitating Microsoft considering Microsoft came out first? Everyone copies off everyone... get used to it.

Hey you asked this awhile ago but I thought I'd help. This is all speculation. BUT

The wifi only PlayBook will not have a pin, Because you will not be paying for a data package which includes BIS. Instead the wifi only versions will use your current BIS connection if you have a BlackBerry.

Now the 3G and 4G models I'm sure will have a pin, they are required for BIS to work. I don't see RIM making a product that has a data plan and no BIS. So 3G/4G PB will have it's own BBM.

  • @MondoBongoz nop, you won't need one. With your blackberry you will hook it up by bluetooth and automatically all your blackberry services and contacts will appear on the playbook

fucking retard. Name one successful windows tablet in the past 10 years...

  • @TheMrPh

    No it would'nt.

Tablets running desktop operating systems have been around for over 8 years. In this time only 1.5 million have been sold TOTAL. Within 6 months of release, the iPad has sold 3.3 million.

It's obvious that people don't want a tablet that gets 45 minutes of battery life and that runs a mouse/keyboard OS.

  • it's have fring for facetime wow
