I Never Thought I'd Catch THIS Lovebug.. (Nick J Love Story) Chapter 14 part 4

I ordered a chocolate milkshake, Michele strawberry, and Nick just got a Diet Coke.
"Nick, you canNOT come to Andy's just to get a diet coke.. He'll have a chocolate milkshake." I said, turning to the waiter. "And we'll get a basket of fries too."
"Jamie! I dont want a milkshake."
"Oh well, youre getting one. And I'M paying this time."
"Oh no you're not."
"YES. I still owe you from the movies AND the hot chocolate at the hospital. Not to mention my mom's coffe and brother's Dr. Pepper!"
"Jamie, you don't owe me anything. I bought that because I wanted to. Now would you please let this go?"
"Wait, wait, why were you at the hospital? WHY IS NOONE TELLING ME THESE THINGS?" Michele broke in, diverting mine and Nick's attention for a moment.
"I'll tell you later Michele. Now Nick, I'm paying. NO BUTS."
"Ugh. If I drink my milkshake will you let me pay? Cause I won't drink if you pay."
"Fineee... you win this round, but I WILL pay sometime."

Once our drinks and fries came, there wasn't as much talk. They were delicious milkshakes. I dipped fries in my milkshake...
"Ew, is that even good?" Nick asked.
"YES. It's like the perfect combination of salty and sweet. (AN: amazingly true, try it sometime.) Try it!" I said, dipping a fry in my drink and putting it up to his face.
"Um, I'll pass." he said. I laughed.
"Cmon, just one. It'll be delicious, I promise. And if it's not, I'll..."
"JAMIE? Hey girl! what are you doing here?" Ugh. Moment ruiner. It was Amy. What the heck was she doing pretending to be my friend? OH yeah, I forgot I was with Nick.. great... She came and slided into the booth next to Michele.
"UM excuse me! That seat was saved." Michele said.
"For who? you're imaginary friend?" Amy said.
"Well, it'd be better than you sitting there." Amy just ignored Michele's comment.
"Oh hey Nick! I didn't even see you there! Great milkshakes huh?"
"Um, sure. Jamie, can I talk to you outside?"
"Of course. Be right back you guys!" We left without giving time for Michele to respond. I could tell her and Amy had a heated discussion as soon as we walked away, and just had to smile at the thought.
"Um, is she your friend now or something?" Nick said, as soon as we got out of earshot.
"Not that I know of... Nick, open your eyes kid. She's trying to get to you."
"What---oh. Gross." I couldn't hold back my laughter. "I mean, um. well. I guess that didn't sound too nice did it?"
"No, but it sure was funny. If you want me to tell her to go away I will. Or we can just ditch. But i would hate to leave Michele..."
"I don't think Michele is a problem..." Nick said.
"wh---?" I said, then turned to look at our table. Chandler Moore had taken over mine and Nick's bench, and Michele was totally flirting. I knew she had liked him for awhile. Well, that was just too cute. "Aww." I said to Nick. "But we have to let her know we're leaving somehow. I'll text her." I texted Michele, explaining the whole thing. She nodded at me and Nick and I walked out unnoticed.
"So, now that that plan was ruined, where to?" I asked.
"I think I have an idea..." Nick said, pulling me to the park across the street.

anyway, i had to end it somewhere.
what's amy gonna say when she realizes they're gone?
