In this video i show you guys how to use c#, xna, and visual studio to load in models as well as use projection martixes, view matrixes, and translation matrixes to create and view a model.

  • Oh but in between 3:45 what were we supposed to do? you said something about adding a Model directory?

  • @alphavancebob Oh shoot, i thought i had put that in there. okay so,

    Step 1: Go to solution explorer

    Step 2: In the content, right click "add -> new folder"

    Step 3: Name the folder Models

    Step 4: Right click on Models, hover "add -> existing item" then choose your Player.X file.

    Step 5: Then continue to follow my directions.

    If your model is too big or too small, go into the properties of the Player.X, hit content processor, then change the scale.

  • This is dope, nice tutorial. I was scared at the begginning that the screen wouldnt be big enough but you changed it later, nice :)
