So if I understand correctly,, "By His stripes I am healed" means that God needed Jesus Christ to be beaten to death, savagely, brutally, with unimaginable cruelty in order to heal His children. Does anyone think there is something wrong with this? Is that a God you can love? The one you can be alone with in a dark night who understands?
