There wasn't any "german" mix who created the "patricians", the patricians were italic people who at most were akin to alpine celts , not to germans.

Polychronio, i'm sorry to disappoint you but N.Africans and French are not the same as well as italians are not the same of N.Africans.Let's be serious here.

@AlessandroFarnese That's right, Romans were Latins with some Etruscan, purely Italic people. They were not Greek, German, etc. as a few with agendas will like to say. 100% ITALIC!!!!!
-
Of course why are you doubting? Italians are the Ancient Romans...
-
Those were not all roman emperors, Cicero was amongst them
-
*Apulian, meaning the Salento peninsula.

....found throughout the Italian peninsula. I suspect Italians south of the Rubicon (north of which there is Germanic/Celtic influence), and north of the Calabrian and Apulian penisulas (south of which there is SOME Arab/Middle Eastern influence) bear the strongest resemblences to the Romans, and other Italic tribes.
I've said my peace.

...far Northern regions, ie, Lombardy, Aosta Valley, etc. which is why the appear lighter than the average Italian, and *some* minimal Arab/Middle Eastern contribution to the far Southern Italians (ie, Calabrese, Sicilians) DNA, making them a *bit* darker than the average Italian.
4. The Romans, as @Mr86Caesar, said, were, like Italians, largely Mediterranean in appearance. Dark hair/eyes, olive skin, etc. This is evident by wall paintings and mosaics found throught the Italian (continue)

(....much of Southern Italy during the Magna Graecia, and absorbed many of the tribes living there). Greeks greatly influenced Romans, and vice versa, and this fact is evident in the culture similarities of modern Greeks and Italians, in addition to similarities in physical appearance.
3. Outside influence on modern Italians is greatly exaggerated - be it barbarian/Celtic/Lombardic/Ger
manic or Arab. However, there is some Germanic/Celtic influence in the far Northern regions (continued)... -
A couple points:
1. Rome, as an Empire, was filled with diverse cultures; however, Italy (though it had slaves) was not. Italy was the center of Rome, and where the true Romans came from - people from other countries within the empire, though apart of Rome, were NOT Romans.
2. Romans were descendants of the original Italic tribes (Latins, Etruscans, Samnites, Enotrians, etc) along with some Greek influence (who colonized much of Southern Italy during the Magna Graecia..continue next post).
@Mr86Caesar
Black(brown) hair and brown eyes are all over Europe and in med countries that is absolutely normal without meaning nothing weird.
Ancient Romans were not Greeks at all, they were at first latins+some etruscans and then melted with other Italic people. I don't know why people want them greek, german or something other when it's a well and known fact proved by science that they weren't neither Greeks nor Germans, but ITALICS!!!!They were an ITALIC TRIBE!!!!!!!!!!!!
