Sounds like something Mountain would've done

Turns out Black Sabbath did borrow the chord progression to use in Never Say Die

Classic for all ages!

@fumetti He said in a Guitar World interview back in 2008 that those songs weren't supposed to see the light of day. Their manager at the time had a songwriter friend named Norman Haines who wanted his songs recorded but didn't have a band. They were just happy to record in a studio for the first time so they agreed to do the songs but knew that this and the others they recorded didn't represent who they were or what they wanted to sound like.

Love that tubey overdriven sound on Tony's guitar.
-
even though the guys never seemed to think so, this is a GREAT cover! The first time I heard Ozzy sing it I thought it sounded weird, now I think his vocals are perfect for the song :D His unpretentious style fits it incredibly well.
