Yeah, that's what I was thinking when I first saw it. I'll use my Gerber Bear Grylls for my basic slicing with a normal tip. But I'm getting Gerber Crucial for work: Box cutting, stripped screws, wedging out things.

Looks like this one will fit the bill for EDC when I am not wearing my
Leatherman Surge. Would be handy in foul weather gear for sailing. Sheepsfoot style blade another plus.

@TheRedHawk123 Thats exactly what I have carried for the last two years. I work in an office, and a full size tool just does not fit in. This one slips in my pocket, and still has all the basic functions of a multi tool. I still have it with me in the woods, even though I carry a full size as well. Two is one.....

gerber does not tell you what steel they use so it is an inferior tool!

@MrCableguyken Yeah it's just a different design. This is an EDC tool not a wilderness survival tool.
