This is my very first tutorial and you will be creating a very nice water surface effect using Dreamscape plugin.

SHORTCUTS

Create camera from view: ctrl+c
Environment and effects: 8
Maxamize/minimize: Alt+w
Render setup: F10

  • i can't find the material, it doesn't show it?

  • @NexusCool1 I think you are not in camera view while previewing because I hit a shortcut ctrl+c to create a view from perspective. As long a you have a decent view of your sun the preview should be o.k

  • my dreamscape window preview is black...i see clouds layer in right but left one is black....i folow your steps but i dont know what im missing?

  • I'm not so sure I like dreamscape. Renders take forever and options are limited. Also, it seems the lighting options are limited due to not having use of a vray sun, or am i wrong?
