Blue is for sure Joni's best album... So many facets to her music. So sad and yet so happy at the same time. Amazing. My mother played it when I was a little kid and when I rediscovered it some years later I knew every song by heart. I think the music my parents played when I was growing up really influenced me in a good way. CSN, Simon and Garfunkel, the Beatles, Bob Dylan, plus all the oldies from the 50's. So many kids today are heartless because of the crap their parents listen to.

That's how I know all the words, too - - my mom played it over and over when I was, like, 7 to 10 years old. Now, some 40 years later, I still know every note and every word! Thanks, Mom!
