about a half a dozen people are protesting in the mayor's office right now. they say he needs to change the quote, "culture of hate" that police officers have toward the community. family members and supporters of those shot and killed by police officers brought their signs and baers to city hall today... to ask the mayor to fix police misconduct within the albuquerque police department. they're calling for the termination of officers trey economidy and pete dwyer... as well as police chief ray minute thumbnail 12:05 pm schultz-- because they say each has committed human rights violations. "there's no way that an officer's life can be in danger at the time that somebody's back is turned to them- and they're being shot in the back. we really need to do something." we tried to talk to the mayor's office... who says it will not comment on the matter. supporters of 13 people killed by police since 2009 are expected to be at this afternoon's city council meeting that starts at 4 o'clock at civic plaza.
