Michael Dell Resumes Duties as CEO, Stays on as Chairman of the Board.
Michael Dell was the CEO of the company until 2004. Now he's CEO again.
Kevin Rollins joined Dell in 1996, and became CEO in 2004. During his tenure here, he was instrumental in globalizing Dell's direct model. He also navigated Dell through the dot-com downturn. We thank him for his many contributions over the years.
Here's a quick video of Michael's thoughts on the situation.
@uchihasasukefire he had to take back the company cause his former Ceo Kevin Rollins drove his company in the ground when Kevin Rollins Resigned in 2007 he got 48.5 millon dollar severance package Dell will now shut down all U.S. manufacturing facilitys but one that builds servers and only few hundred employees work there most of them workers from staffing serevices

"Enormous value" my ass. Like so many others I got a bent and misdesigned piece of crap (Vostro) and went through the often cited Dell Hell for 2 months (NBD support my ass) until I could return it for a refund. This gave me enough time to do research and find out how rotten this company is inside.
