I did recall that Dottie West sang this song several years ago. I loved Dottie but I feel she overpowered the song a little too much and I have to give the edge to Jeannie.

I think Jeannie Seely is still a doll! Nobody can sing Don't Touch Me like Jeannie. That's why you don't find any other artists attempting to duplicate it. It can't be done. Just like Barbra Striesand's renditions. Once Barbra put her stamp on a song nobody else would dare try to copy it. Jeannie....you sound better than ever. I hope to catch your next performance in the D.C. area.

I loved this song when I was little, and I found it on here. I could listen to these old songs all night, and cry my pillow full of tears for what 'wasn't meant to be'. I have grown up and understand that not all my dreams of who I wanted was RIGHT for me. I did so love HIM but, I know HE was not the right man for me. It doesn't hurt any less. That part of my heart is gone. He has it!!
