  • he is right. some people use pepper to stop leaks in vehicles.

  • where did you get your information on black pepper? whfoods says it's very nutritious as it improves digestion and promotes intestinal health. black pepper also acts synergistically with green tea's EGCG to increase EGCG's bioavailability.

  • @intheflow Wouldn't that depend on how much bacteria you have in your system, how much is good and how is bad bacteria?

  • @blackberryjuice1,

It's probably totally about if it's refined or not. That's the deal with the salt. The "regular" salt has been stripped of minerals, artificially "fortified" and they also add chemicals so it doesn't stick together in your salt shaker.

Sea salt is very good for you bc it has lots of minerals.

  • you would have to consume it regularly and use it as a natural source of sodium

  • Even if salt CAN fight bacterial infections in humans, aren't all antibiotics sourced from nature anyway? I don't understand this video.

  • I don't know if sea salt is an antibiotic but I do know that sea salt has 80 powerful minerals, it's super healthy. Just make sure sure the sea salt you buy is grey or pink in color.

  • I've never heard of sea salt being a natural antibiotic. How much would a person need to ingest to kill off bacteria? I would think the natural iodine in it would be the part that kills off bacteria.

  • I've never heard the black pepper thing either. I have heard that black pepper is hard to digest though but it does supposedly have some beneficial compounds though.

I do love hot peppers though. I eat a lot of fresh jalapenos, chilis and other hot ones like Scotch bonnets. I think its good for sinuses and digestion.
