Danny Cohen Birthright Israel Story

As a photojournalist for a West Palm Beach, FL based CBS affiliate, my Film Contest submission is a news story that I was honored to produce, shoot, write, and edit. It is the story of one of my fellow alumni, Jamie Silverstein, and her experience in Israel. While in Israel, I recorded many of her memorable moments. I produced it a short time after we returned from our June 2006 University of Florida Hillel trip. It contrasts the amazing time that Jamie had there with the scary reality of a just beginning Israel/Hezbollah conflict.
