@pamle1 Yup, Moore was always fun to watch. He was a good fighter who ran into a legend having one of his great revivals, the fight says more about how good Duran was capable of being even past his lightweight best than it says about Moore. Shame what happened to Davey, freak accident. Not to mention the cosmic weirdness of his name, in light of his more famous, though totally unrelated predecessor

@Wamz1978 He was like a lot of boxers who are devalued due to one bad night. However, he was tremendously exciting and had great firepower. His quick assent was very memorable.

Thanks so much for posting this fight! In an era of so many great fighters like Hagler, Leonard, Holmes, Hearns, Pyor, Chandler, Arguello, M. Spinks, to name a few, Davey Moore was one of my favorites. I even named my oldest son after him. Davey had heart, power, and an unshakeable will in he ring. I was crushed by his death and am still sadden to this day. R.I.P. Davey. Thank you for some good battles.

Any time anyone questions Moore's credentials (Usually in an attempt to downgrade Roberto Duran's later accomplishments) I point them to this fight...
