We have had some really good rainbow trout fishing in the upper section of the North Branch of the Potomac River. These fish have been taking bead head nymphs in a #16-#14. We had the client use a double nymph rig to hook this 20"+ rainbow. The fishing was visual also. We could see every move this fish made from the turns of interest to the take and hook up. ALL THAT FOR THAT????? IT WASNT EVEN THAT BIG!!! i catch 2 or 3 that big on the little juniata in central pa on a good day. and im down to three pound test (and i land em in half the time in faster water)
