  • Thank you for all the wonderful information. Do you reseal the small jars each time you use them?

  • Hi MrJcomfort,

I am so sorry for not responding. Sometimes with the in coming messages some fall between the cracks. Yours was one of those, I;m sorry.

I just screw the lid back on with the same oxygen pack inside as the first time. If I no longer hear the pop when opening then I replace it. Your name will stand out to me now. Tammy

  • Thank you for putting your knowledge out there for so many of us to benefit from. You made me laugh when you started to speak out about the economy and then proceeded to list all of my favorite go to guys about the economy (except no mention of Ron Paul). Thank you again for all of your hard work, I'll let all the other Canadians know to look your videos up.

  • Thank you 7532730,

I know I forgot to mention my 2 Heros, Ron Paul and Glenn Beck. Men who make truth and honesty a part of their daily life. Who care more about Human life and rights then filling their pockets with greed.

I pray God stands by their side every minute of the day.

    Tammy

  • I just found your videos and love them. Ive searched the internet for "how to" videos and more often than not they dont turn out. Im excited about dehydrating again. I'm going to the grocery store tomorrow to see what I can find to dehydrate!!! thanks again!!!

  • I would like to thank everyone for all the kind word of encouragement. Im overwhelm by the response and e-mail I have received. Thursday and Friday I will be uploading some new videos regarding fruit rollups, fruit and a 3 course meal with dehydrated food. Most important, I will be attaching a shelf life chart on dehydrated and dried foods that you should be able to print out and keep at hand.

Once again thank you and ring the bell. Tammy

  • I LOVE your videos! I was glued to everyone I found. You are a fantastic teacher, and I will be looking for more of your videos. Thanks for sharing your passion, knowledge, and skills.

  • Your videos are great, you’ve really taught me a lot. You are very thorough. Can I ask a few questions though. Have you considered putting a desiccant such as silica gel packets in with the oxygen absorber and food, to ensure further dehydration? And did you say the shelf life on items prepared like this is 30 years, or is it different for different products? Thanks for the fantastic vids.

  • I am so intrigued! I was previously thinking of canning to put away food. That idea has been ditched for dehydration. To have the possibility of preserving food for 30 years is astounding and wonderful.

  • @Dehydrate2store

Where do you get your oxygen absorbers? I've noticed some come in bags of 50. Once I would open the bag they come in, I'd have to use all 50 of them. Can I get them in smaller sealed quantities?

  • Looks good! do you have an extra bowl for me? LOL keep going women, Your good!!!!!!!!

  • We just started 3 days ago and love it! Thanks, Your videos just helped me understand the best prepping process. You covered everything I needed to know. Thanks again fom Cincinnati

  • I feel like I am a lottery winner! Wow, absolutely phenomenal ! You have me sold for sure I can not wait to get started on this and not to mention my wife is going to be so freaking happy that she can get me to eat her creations now!!!!! LOL. Besides this is going to be our bonding time too . Just what I needed . Thanks so much! and God bless

  • I've really learned a lot from you and admire you for sharing your info. What will you do if God forbid, the SHTF and you have no power? What kind of a backup method is there to dehydrate or will you have to switch to traditional canning?? Is sun drying feasible?

  • how do you vacum pack the jars

  • I love your videos and have been dehydrating for 2 yrs...I had a lot of okra and so I fixed it and the family loves it for snack..just a little salt and pepper. Do you have any other suggestions for okra long term storage. Can I batter it with meal and have it last for long term?
