Let's see. "Free" life means never knowing where your next meal is coming from. "Free" life means parasites, disease, and being as much prey as predator. "Free" means slowly starving to death if you are injured. That hawk can be "free" any time it wants to. It knows when it has a good thing going for it.

Thank you for your comment. I must agree. All our birds are free to leave anytime. As a result of their training, they are better hunters and more capable to survive. Raptors have an extremely hard life. Many only survive a year or two in the wild. Sometimes our birds do choose to leave and it's extremely heartbreaking for us to know we may never see them again. But that's why it means so much every day they chose to stay. Are you vegan?

Wow this video dug up some uneducated folks! Good falconers are not bird keepers, they are not pets. My falcon flies free almost every day during hunting season. I agree they should be more free though, free of any hunting season or type of game they can catch cuz in the wild they can catch anything at anytime!)

I agree with your premise (that humans are enslaved as well); that does not however support your implied conclusion that it's therefore okay to enslave other creatures

not taking a side either way, just pointing out a gap in your argument
