As a retired office manager, I must say it was nicer to work with beautiful equipment, and Olivetti a generation ago was the prettiest! I never understood them bringing out that first electronic typewriter in ugly black, the ET 221. It was flat ugly.

Nice video. But I must say I like the old Olivetti logo better than the Olivetti Tecnost logo.

Attention Alvimangels! I don't think that the printing machine shown at 1.12 min. is from Olivetti! Don't you see how ugly it is...? Great video, congratulations.

My father worked for Olivetti during 30 years of his life. He teached me to know and to appreciate this great Company. I agree with your comments about Olivetti and its sad death. The music is from "Nuovo Cinema Paradiso" in Andrea Bocelli's version. Ciao!

Nice video, the music is a bit cheesy however.
It's so sad Olivetti is dead. In the sixties and seventies they used to have a considerable technological leadership which further mismanagement and stupidity has just killed off. They understood the value of design in office machines years before venerable Steve Jobs enjoyed his firs LSD trip. At the beginning of PC era, they also made better personal computers than IBM itself.
