Unlike older techniques for personality assessment, the Signal Patterns personality survey measures the unique individual personality differences in a great level of detail, and enables users to discover new like-minded individuals online.

  • The big 5 is probably the most "neutral" test that most psychologists agree on. It is indeed a great place to start, but you really don't want to stop there. It only gives a broad overview; it lists observations of traits, but explains nothing.

  • "Unique feedback that is personalised to them" Just sounds like he is saying we are all different so these results dont really mean anything other than we are all different. Lol

  • @henkvanderlaak Im sorry, It seems your ignorance stems from your lack of education... or are you just stupid? either way, I would suggest keeping your comments to your self if you have no idea what you are talking about.... All the best

  • that song at the beginning sounds like the macarena! hahahaha. By the way, the site doesn't work for me anymore. Comes up with 404 errors :(

  • total shit :D the big 5 are one of the worst personality theorys born in psychology...

  • @henkvanderlaak The structural validity of the big five has been validated using different languages, different cultures, and across different spans of life development (Costa & McCrae, 1992). Using a lexical approach compiling over 30,000 adjectives used to describe people, the big five emerges as a supra-structure to capture all of these adjectives (Goldberg, 2001). Finally, the Big Five has demonstrated stability across the life span of nearly 50 years (Roberts, 2006). These are not "weak."

  • @1elanorrigby Empirical, unless someone knows how to play the tests.

  • @trulynot

I have to disagree with you. There are fewcomprehensive test that assesses individuality, if any. The way tests measure an individual's attributes simply categorizes them in a group that does not truly reflect themselves. There are so many variables to measure so obtaining a true measure is a incredibly complex task. I think that tests such as this are much more empirical in that they tell you who the individual is, as opposed to theories that are just a way of grouping people

  • "Unlike older techniques"... blah blah blah. When these older tests were introduced, people thought (like now) they were the best thing ever invented.

The eternal problem with these pseudo sciences is that everybody can come up with a claim and nobody will be able to challenge it, BECAUSE THEY AREN'T BASED ON FACTS, only on very weak statistics. These psychology people are money and time wasters pretending they know something, which they don't.

  • Ha Ha Haaaa! I love how people put themselves into "categories" based on some dumbass creating a "test" or "project". Be YOU and quit trying to live life the way some asshole wants you to...
