@josheeta - thanks - my degree in Theology didn't cover that . . . seriously? That is all you can say to my comment. The apostle Paul says to follow his example so discipleship has an element of following those whom we know to be following Christ - that is what mentor-ship is all about. Meeting together regularly also has such an element.

love his teaching but also i gotta admid that my heart hurts since im lonely as hell and hearing about someone else' having a wife and family and thing going all well ... hurts the hell out off me since my things are Not well

That's the Jesus that i can't wait to spend eternity with! On a side note, it is sad that some people "throw the baby out with the bathwater" because they think Eldredge is an "open-theist" and go so far as to question his faith or that he has anything worth listening to/reading. I am serisouly contemplating moving to Colorado in the hopes ot rub elbows with him on a regular basis!

@TheMessanjah Hey man. The Bible says that "...in all things, God works for the good of those who love Him" (Romans 8:28). I know it hurts, going through rough times.
