John Eldredge leart eastern mysticism and has trained in thearter he is the consummate false teacher laeding many astray·His ideas dont come from the bible."In modern shamanism, geese are also associated with communication, the ability to express oneself, especially through the use of stories. Its said that the goose as a totem signifies the importance of the childhood belief in stories and legendary places. The stories people liked most as a child might give insight in the patterns in their lives"

@josheeta - thanks - my degree in Theology didn't cover that . . . seriously? That is all you can say to my comment. The apostle Paul says to follow his example so discipleship has an element of following those whom we know to be following Christ - that is what mentor-ship is all about. Meeting together regularly also has such an element.

@zeph317 look to God not one particular man.

That's the Jesus that i can't wait to spend eternity with! On a side note, it is sad that some people "throw the baby out with the bathwater" because they think Eldredge is an "open-theist" and go so far as to question his faith or that he has anything worth listening to/reading. I am serisouly contemplating moving to Colorado in the hopes ot rub elbows with him on a regular basis!

One kiss in the Bible, carefully described. THE FUN of Jesus life and tricks and laughs during his resurrection.
@TheMessanjah Hey man. The Bible says that "...in all things, God works for the good of those who love Him" (Romans 8:28). I know it hurts, going through rough times. It hurts, being lonely, and feeling like you're empty without a woman. But know that right now, God is working for your good, brother. He is building you, making you FIT to have a woman and a family. If you haven't read Wild at Heart, I highly recommend it; it's made me know God more fully Let Him build you. Let Him heal your heart
