very nice player piano, I like the duo art system very much but it's to expensive for me to buy one. my grandmother had a weber Duo-Art pianola but her father already took the mechanism out and threw it away before I was born. according to my grandmother, he said to her: "the mechanism is destroying the piano itself". what he didn't see, was that these piano's were made to have such a mechanism inside.
I now have a Kastner&co autopiano. it's in good condition now after my careful Restauration

So stunningly used in the 1946 film The Picture Of Dorian Gray.

One of the best Duo-Art pianos I have ever heard. The expression is fabulous. A great testament to what the Duo-Art system is capable of. I have a Weber D-A grand 1924 (U.S.). DuoArtDanOZ has a wonderful example of a Weber Duo-Art upright on YouTube.

I have the same model (K) as you, only mine dates from 1914. The pneumatic action is in pieces at the moment waiting for me to get on and finish restoring it. Your vid has given me the push I needed to get on and finish it. Thanks for that.

There is no adjusters bar along roll .
How are they adjusting the roll ?

The rolls are not adjusted, they are fixed in the right position, the tracker bar is adjusted from side to side, allowing for any misalignment of the paper. This is a very reliable system and works even when one edge of the paper is damaged.
