A simple technique so that all the bottles come out with very even and uniform labels. They look much better this way.

  • You can just soak any paper in milk, and it will slide on the glass until it drys.. .. Thats how they did it for absinthe bottles.. in Switzerland..

  • @Casper48022 This is a cool tip. Thanks

  • How did you make your labels?

  • @ostmash I bought the labels. They come with the background already done. You put them in your printer and you can print on them. Then you peel them off the sheet and stick them to the wine bottles.

  • Thats all good. But now I have back labels. So now getting the spacing between the 2 labels is what I need to know.

  • @Casper48022 Not sure if this will work on paper labels but window tinting or decal that has sticky stuff on one side you can use a vigeager based widow cleaner like windex and it lets you move the tint around to get all the air bubbles out and when it dries it is stuck. Just spray the window and apply the tint or decal moving it into place as needed. I'd think it wold work here.

  • Thank you and im not worried about it varying because id never brew close to that much.

  • Its legal to make mead as long as you are of legal age. And you are allowed a certain amount of gallons you can brew. I think it's 100 but that may vary by state.

  • Is it illegal to brew just for personal consumption?

  • I was just going over the application yesterday... Dozens and dozens of pages that it seems like I'd need a lawyer to decode to that I would understand! Screw jumping through all those hoops. I would just barter with it or give it as gifts I guess to avoid the licensing process.
