You are completely retarded, that's what religion does to people. Vicarious forgiveness of "sin" through the torture and death of another is a vile concept, really quite disgusting and immoral. If that's the kind of thing your god is into he can get fucked as far as I'm concerned.

If his story is true then it was a terrible and horrific thing this man had to witness and if it helps him and his family to consider it a message from god then fine, who could blame him.
However, if it was a message from god, I don't want anything to do with that god. That is the god of the old testament and we are given great insight into his bloodthirsty and disgusting ways in the bible.

If the guy was going to commit suicide regardless and the guy in the video asked God for a "Glimpse of Hell" - then how merciful would God be to send this guy to try to help, comfort and talk to the suicide guy about Jesus right before he died?

That statement is a perfect example of how belief in a higher moral authority can warp your thinking to such an extent that it can no longer be called rational.
How about instead of god letting one of his beloved and cherished creations die in unimaginable agony he changes the universe ever so slightly so the person is a little bit happier and no longer feels the need to end his life? That's the kind of deity I would worship, your god is a jerk.

How do you think a good and just god would balance everything out in a universe the way you described? Would anyone ever really be quite happy "enough" to suit themselves? Then figure into the equation the freedom to make bad choices...and the freedom to make good choices. There were likely plenty of people in the suicide guy's life that made bad choices (abuse, abandonment, etc)...that lead him down that path. I don't think you'd want a god that programmed you to perfection do you?

What so a guy asked God to give him a vision of hell, so God had someone set on fire and burn to death to grant this man his wish? Yeah that really makes sense.

Would it make sense that this man was going to commit suicide by setting himself on fire...and God simply had the guy in the video in the right place at the right time to witness it?
