how much money do you think it would cost to build a distillery that would make 10 gallons of ethanol per day?? it would have to be simple cause im limited to resources, metal and accesories to the money ratio. what exactly do you put in the boiler to make ethanol? is there any fermenting processes with the ingredients needed before you use heat? please help and thanks for your time. :)

@engineerdr may i have your facebook ID ?

@santeryi9 than you very much sir :)

@josemanuelsalgado it is true for 2 stroke engines where the oil and petrol must be premixed before use in engine, your bike must be equipped with 4 stroke engine and the older the better, - less parts in carbs, easier to convert , plus not so demanding to the quality of fuel.

@santeryi9 thank you for your answer. then the argument that says that ethanol needs to be pure in 99% are false, anyway they say that the ethanol will ruin the carburator sealings and plastic tubes, they also say that the ethanol will create a gel that will block the injectors, do you think that can also be dismissed?

@josemanuelsalgado All that I stated is not my words but widely known fact, water in the state of steam or mist will not damage engine but will add some extra H/P this effect is used in aircraft engines, so some few percent of water in ethanol is real advantage that offsets the problem of ethanol of being the fuel with lower calories in comparison with petrol.
was that long height vessel a distillation column??? fermentation is totally a batch process. then how you are producing the ethanol continuously...please help somebody :)

@engineerdr this is not a continuous fermentation but continuous non stop distillation where all you have to do is to switch between your fermenting vessels, - so it takes time to ferment and also time to distill - thus once one big vessel is empty the another one is ready for processing, - process the ready one and prepare the first one, - in this case there is no need to heat and boil an entire volume of mash - just a steady supply to the still and continuous processing of fermented mash.
