@carnright there are no reeds. membranes are used to produce the sound. like a kazoo

@carnright it uses a membrane, not a reed. the membrane can be made from a peice of thin plastic (plastic bag or similar). If you search YouTube for 'How to make a membrane pipe' you should find some helpful videos
