Brilliant 1979 ITV sketch show written by David Renwick and Andrew Marshall.
A parody of 'Weekend World', the sunday afternoon political discussion show with Brian Walden, so boring that it's producer John Birt got made Director General of the BBC.
Stars that bloke from The Daemons as Brian Walden and Sue Holderness (you know, Marlene) as Clive Jenkins.
This clip also has Norman and Vera Straightman's gas TV set, which is one of my main memories of watching this show as a childe
@Noodlebug

@xandy1959 - and I liked "Yes Minister", no, seriously, but I did`nt like "No, Honestly" yes really.-and I always had to switch off "Vision On" no kidding.

-You were a childe? -I could only afford to be a child, but luckily I grew out of it "-and a third joke, in a similar vein...."
