  • Do you have a fuse???

  • @carlos35858 yes, it was fine when we inspected it but we still replaced it still... Nada :/

  • Hope u got fixed. Sounds like ur going about it wrong. Chinese ATV's need 3 thing, spark, fuel and air. the spark is done 2 ways ignition and starter. So lets check spark first. take spark plug and lay on side of engine, try n start see if any spark. If not unplug your CDI on the harness plug should be five wires in take jewelers screwdriver and pop out Black/white wire, then plug CDI in see if sparks. Spark means kill switch issue. no spark could be Battery, CDI, Coil or Stator. give update.

  • @lynnw197 @lynnw197 Sorry I never saw that comment. Well I DID have spark but now the things cant even turn over once in about 2-4 seconds. It acts like the compression is 5x what it should be but I checked it and its in the green for that cc. But I took a powerdrill and pulled the plug out and got spark. I understand what you're saying but I already checked for fuel, spark, and air. It worked and it stopped instantly telling me that something failed...

  • Did you get it fixed yet? I just worked on my neighbors Chinese 4 wheeler that was doing the same thing. I thought it was the starter as well, but after digging into it I realized the motor was frozen and the starter wouldn't turn the engine, and making the exact same sound/ scenario. If you unscrew the plug on the left side of the motor and put a socket on the flywheel nut u shld be able to turn the engine over. 10hr and the rings rusted to the cylinder. soaked it with pb blaster freed .FIXED

  • @mvav8tor Dude I hate these things.. I tried EVERYTHING including what you just said... I'm stumped :/ But thanks for watching and sharing!

  • Spark is not an issue to check right now. Check spark when engine is turning over but not starting. You have an electrical issue unrelated to spark fire.

  • When you switched the solenoids, I saw you moving the wire on solenoid post. Make sure those nuts are tight on posts. If it still clicks after tightened, keep battery jumpers hooked to battery and the try to jump your soleniod. Take a screw driver or tool and use it to touch hot and ground posts on solenoid. Make sure ignition switch is on and kill switch isnt activated. If internal components are bad on solenoid, it can be bypassed by jumping the posts. If it turns over, replace solenoid.

  • you did have spark and now you don't or you had it running and now it won't? you said you got spark was that with CDI black/white wire in or out? Also be sure your getting fuel flow. Was plug wet when u pulled out? on bottom of carb unscrew screw a bit to see if you get fuel draining. Since its an older ATV you may want to clean the carb jets, there are a few vids on here that will show you how. Sparking then quitting could be CDI or coil. you can get a CDI for 8 bucks. motopartsmax(dot)com

  • @lynnw197 Any Luck trying what I said?
