@OrbitTechShow, it's people like you that has caused all the pain that South Africa is going through now. If you don't like the country's new leaders, you can always move to a bordering African country, to Europe, or some place else--it's entirely your choice.

Just switched over having listened to the de la Rey song. The tears are drying on my cheeks as I write. Surely the coursge and spirit of the boere will keep hope alive in your beautiful country. Please God all the people of South Africa will one days learn to live together, learning from and teaching each other. The voortrekker spirit is part of a priceless heritage which must not be lost, though some sort of multi-cultural society is inevitable. Let the best of all survive.

@MsTristan3 At 15 you will not have known the Southern Africa as I did as a child when it was a beautiful wealthy country.. British I grew up amongst Afrikaners and can tell you (but you probably already know) they are a wonderful people very misunderstood, valiant, loyal and capable. There is a place for Afrikaners in SAs future. They are the single indispensible people of SA. Without Afrikaner enterprise, energy and initiative SA will continue on its journey into hell. My pleasure! I cried the first time I heard this song because of everything going on and all the name changes.
I still have hope for this country, one day it will be ruled by responsible people again...
