@dabomb2045 That's true, but he dosen't stress defense in his system. Seven seconds or less is good for an offensive team, but defense win championships. Every team that won the finals in the past few years has played great defense in order to win.
Offense is good, but Defense wins championships. You need to stress defense and rebounding in order to win. Putting points on the board is important too, but getting stops in clutch situations are always key.

I know people like to bad mouth D'Antoni...but lets remember he got his team to the West Finals in 05-06 (05 losing to a great veteran-laden Spurs team, 06 he didnt have Amare the entire season yet still got the Suns deep into the playoffs)....07 there is an excellent chance the Suns win it all if those stupid suspensions dont happen after Horry hipchecked Nash into the scorers table at the end of Game 4

@res340 The Knicks lost game 5 to the Spurs by one point. Allan Houston scored 30 something in that game. They gave it everything they had.
