The child was merely separated from his mother for only a few minutes --- if not seconds -- before being spotted by an alert Heather Gore -- who is a mother herself. New Orleans Police find hundreds of lost chldren thoughout the year during major events and return them safely to their parents. These officers merely consider it part of the job and do not desire nor expect any special recognition. Which is a very realistic expectation---because rarely do they recieve it!!!
