People come on, this is not about buying babies it is about AN AGENCY that USED CHILDREN STUCK IN HORRIBLE CONDITIONS (orphanages) and people who want to parent them. GET OVER YOURSELF and listen to the story. I guess you think that an innocent baby should live in conditions that you could not even imagine and then be turned on the streets when they are older. Is that what you think would be better for these kids.

Whoever left the comment about domestic adoption you should check your facts!

but isn't the alternative that these children just sit in these orphanages until they are 18, and then get thrown out in the street?

first, you can't reserve a baby months ahead of time. 2nd, you have to do a homestudy and qualify. THEN, you can visit the country and find a child. This trying to predetermine who you are getting is silly, there are many, many children. Contact me at my youtube page if you want to adopt. its not a black market, its legal adoption in Russia.

It is Legalised child Trafficing,

and adopters are being conned because they are needy adults and agencies take advantage of this.

i am goign to visit kids in orphanage this week probably ...we do it every year but my family cant adopt cause my dad died so we are not completly family

Luckily, she did. We bonded with this girl for many, many months before we even met her. She had a place reserved for her at our table, with her picture. It was the most natural thing. I continue to be thankful that she is here with us, and not rotting away at her orphange, getting ready for a life of drunkeness and crime and more abuse. She's here. She's healthy and happy. She's ours. But how were we to know then that our agency was less than honorable? They did what they promised.

Orphans and adoption are on God's heart. But there are lots of people out there, we learn, that will take advantage of that. When I was in the adoption process, most agencies I talked with had a practice that "reserved" or "placed on hold" a child for you when you sent in the adoption contract payment. Naturally, we assumed this was a normal practice.  We trusted the kind people I talked to continually that we would go through the process, and this child would come home with us from Kaz.
