MATTHEW 24:48-51: WARNING PASSAGES

Salvation CANNOT be lost if you truly belong to Christ.

The EVIL servant!!! Many believe that the 'evil servant' in this passage represents a believer in Christ that is taking the Lord's coming for granted. I disagree. See why!!!

-So what about those (Arminian) who claim that they have the power to choose Christ. Are they considered not elect because they say hold to this belief.

-Harold Camping said that the elect of God has left the church, and those who remain are not the elect, what are some of your thoughts on this

@uprisingwarrior They would only be the elect if God ordained it to be. Their opinions on what scripture says really has no bearing on the own eternal status that the Lord has decreed already. I believe that Arminians are no less saved than calvinists, just a bit ignorant of His nature and His decrees, but becuz they believe in free will, that would not make them the non-elect. As for Harold Camping, he's a heretic and fits the description in 2 Peter 2:1
