Dynamite carried him in most of the matches. He let Tiger get off the offence, and do his lucha libre influenced flashy moves. He was one of the main reasons Tiger mask was so popular.

Dynamite Kid was literally dynamite.....but Tiger Mask outclassed & out-thought him.

Dynamite is like the evolutionary common ancestor of Benoit, Davey Boy Smith, and Bret Hart.

Benoit took his style, Davey Boy took his gimmick, and Bret took his outfit.

Now I'm not fluent in Japanese but I think the commentators said he was WWF Junior Heavyweight Champion... but only about 23 times.
