Banger car racing Championships

43 cars and 25 laps later, it looks like one big crash site - it's the Banger Racing Championships. It's all bang and crash and that's what people come for. Open to unlimited over 1800cc bangers, the championships draw the biggest names from the banger racing world to compete for the prestigious title. The excitement mounted as the 43 qualifying entrants took their place on the grid but when the pace cars pulled away signalling the start of the race, full metal mayhem reigned. The atmosphere was as close as a modern audience will come to that of a Roman gladiator event as the armoured warriors did battle under the arc lights of the stadium. Finally a winner emerged (No. 22) and Dave 'Mugger' Vincent...

Because 90% of us will never get anywhere close to being a professional racer, and all of the cars used would have just rotted away in junkyards and become useless hunks of rusted metal anyway... so hey, why not have a little fun with them first?
