I SWEAR I'm not a perv but after what you wrote in your "more info" section, I spent the whole time waiting for plumbers crack. LOL! Good to see your apples will be safe now.

You made it look so easy, even with the wind you didn't get tangled up a bit! Thanks - Anna

I was thinking that you could put fishing sinkers at two of the corners of the net and just throw them over the tree...

Nice to see an aussie on youtube:D i was considering making a frame out of wood or piping and attaching the bird netting to that, thinking it would be easier to take apart and put back together again seasonally, also since my mum has been using your method for years and often still finds the bloody birds get in.

Wow. I think I need to really prune my trees. I'll never get a net like that over my big loquats! Maybe I could make like a treehouse for cats and the cats could scare them away - ha.

Helpful video!!! I have a Montmorency cherry(bigger than the one here)that needs netting.I didn't have a clue. Would've tried it single-handed & it would've been a mess ....glad I watched it done 1st. Can you give me an idea of how to go about netting a tree that's bigger than this one? Do I treat the tree as 2 halves & overlap the netting in the middle?Or do they have to be joined, either before or after it's on the tree? Thanks for the awesome video. (The wind noise is actually a nice effect.)
