Bravo Rolando - one of the most beautiful arias I have ever heard. The phrasing is lovely - what a band , just amazing. Lucky, lucky Deptford! This sounds so much better sung by a tenor.

@edesalma1 Do you think a castrato would be better or what do you mean? A countertenor isn't more historically correct since countertenors rarely sang at the opera house at this time, more often in sacred music in a church.
