The Three Breath Awareness Practice

Practice first with your eyes closed. Soon you will be able to do this process with your eyes open as well.

1. Take a moment to become completely present.

2. Gently close your eyes. You can be standing or sitting.

3. Begin breathing VERY DEEPLY. Breathe so deep you feel the air moving throughout every cell in your body, from the top of your head to your toes.

4. Feel any tension in your body releasing with each breath you take.

5. Allow your focus to drift away from the distractions of the outside world toward the infinite awareness within. Feel everything slowing down...

6. After the third DEEP breath, sit in the awareness of the Stillness within... The level of stress you were in will determine the breaths needed to feel sensations of peace coming over you. In time you will be able to access this shift in consciousness in only a breath. In the beginning it likely will take longer.

7. Maintain this inner focus for three minutes or longer if needed.

8. With your eyes still closed, notice what has changed, how you feel. Many people speak of a renewed feeling of calm in the body and often a tingling sensation in their hands or head as this Energy circulates.

9. Open your eyes and bring the Stillness and the awareness back with you into your day.

Using this tool when going through difficulties of any kind will enhance all the outcomes you are looking for, as well as greatly improve your state of mind in the moment.

    what do you recommend for kids to get them to get out of unconsciousness.
