As a Jew and a believer, who has family in Haaretz (my mother who was raped as a teen and gave birth to me lives in the land with her wonderful husband and 8 kids),my heart goes out to Achim!It rips my heart out that my fellow Jews can call us non Jews.Whatever to the concept of ahavat yisrael? They Claim we are not Jews because we worship a"dead"Messiah, by that logic then, should the same not be said about Chabad and Breslov?We were born Jews and we will die Jews!They now forbid us Aliyah too!

It is sad that a country I love wants to encourage christian tourists there and have us spend our cash, yet it permits the persecution of our brethren. I know that it is a minority that cause problems for Messianics but the fact that government officials ignore it is sad. Israels best friends are the bible believing christians.

One rabbi desperately looking to bring their children(Jews) back home entered a room pull of children and started to sing Shema Yisrael ( a prayer that is sung everynight before bedtime and the ritual is to over their eyes while singing the prayer) immediately the born Jews by instinct covered their eyes while the Rabbi sang Shema Yisrael. It is quite a famous historic event. This is one of the MANY reason why Orthodox Jews have a problem with the Christian community.

I thought everybody who was born by a Jewish mother is a Jew. So, how can anyone lose his/her Jewishness? And what about all those secular Jews who don't believe in the Torah at all? Why does nobody deny them their Israeli citizenship?

These Orthodox are no better than the kappos in the Shoah that marched children to the oven to live another day.

Shalom. I am a Christian, a gentile. I think people in Israel had this thing all upside down. Christians did not covert Jews to be Messianic Jews. Let us straighten this out. It was Messianic Jews who intoduced the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to the whole world! They have been very successful in proselyting us throughout history because God is with them. If extremists in Israel had not kicked gentile proselytes out of Judaism 2,000 years ago, Christians may have been called Jews, too, today.

Shame the Israeli Goverment for allowing such persecution...if memory serves me right ,the Nazi's did the same thing did they not? Israel is better than this and I hope some courageous Goverment official stands for these good people.
