The hill people lament this period and have termed it the "Great Exodus." About 100,000 people were evicted from their land during 1959-1962 when Kaptai Lake was created."
"The film also describes how the Bangladeshi government started settling people from the late 70s from outside the region, and how this laid the basis for protracted instability and human rights violations."

At the time of the partition of India in August, 1947 non MusIims constituted 98.5% of the population of the Chittagong Hill Tracts, now it is merely 50%, talk about Muslim colonization! The area of CHT should have gained independence from Bangladesh, just like Bangladesh itself! But hey, it is never too late; FREE CHITTAGONG HILL TRACTS!!!
