Spike the Snake

When I was doing rescue work I sometimes took in reptiles. This guy was rescued from a sailor who had gone out to sea and thought he could trust his roommate to care for him. His roommate ditched the snake and through mutual friends the sailor contacted me and asked me to take the snake and find him a good home. When we got him he was really malnurished and kind of timid. After a lot of hard work he was finally healthy and friendly enough to find a permanent home. We adopted him out to a great family who had a room built in their home just for a snake. This guy lives in the lap of luxury now.
