Jesus failed to fulfill Jeremiah 23:5-6 5"Behold, the days are coming," declares the LORD, "When I will raise up for David a righteous Branch; And He will reign as king and act wisely And do justice and righteousness in the land. 6"In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell securely; And this is His name by which He will be called, 'The LORD our righteousness.'
ah my athiest friend. you quote scripture well even though your understanding of it seems quite limited. Psalms 14:1 the Fool has said in his heart there is no God.
which part did he fail to fulfull? He died for everyone. Through his sacrifice everyone can have peace and everlasting life. All you have to do is believe. A little too simple right?
Jesus will be here soon to fulfill Jeremiah 23:5-6.Only one prepared the way for the Lord the first time he came. This time 144,000 will prepare the way for the lord and they are already here.
In fact he did fulfill it...Jesus was born in the line of David. He paid the price for our sin and is The Lord our righteousness for in him all men who believe have recieved this merit on His behalf. He sits at the right hand of God as King and will return again. He has provided salvation to Judah, Israel and even to the ends of the earth in Acts1.
You need to realize that the prophets saw things revealed to them by God that revealed the future. Some have been fulfilled since that time that but they also saw some things that are still in the future.
Jesus himself explained that he was not setting his kingdom yet. Read Acts 1:6-11. When he does return then he will establish the kingdom referred to by Jeremiah (and Isaiah and Daniel and John, etc.).
God is the fortress in which we live, and Jesus is the life flowing through our veins. Everything i give to you. Jesus you are worthy of all praise, and glory. Life is not lived until we live for he who hath lived for us. :) Hallelujah, Halleluja!

Jesus hasn't fulfilled Jeremiah 23:5-6 ... yet.
You need to realize that the prophets saw things revealed to them by God that revealed the future. Some have been fulfilled since that time that but they also saw some things that are still in the future.

I hope that helps.
