@lleosupercluster .....contrary to the commonly perceived images which most are accustomed to. Nobody noticed him when he walked but he gathered a multitude when he talked. Now, these descriptions are from 'certain traditions' which the church prefer we rather ignore and embrace the glorified image similar to the ones portrayed in pictures, movies and TV.

@lleosupercluster ......the practice of interpreting the image of Lord Yeshua began primarily during the renaissance period and guess what? They all began to look like Michaelangelo-type Italians. Those images began to look more like western Europeans as the practice moved westward. I even saw a black Christ in Africa and one with slit-eyes in China. Certain traditions had Lord Yeshua described as an inauspicious individual, short in stature, curly hair with a tanned Mediterranean skin..

robert powell we all love u as the greatest jesus in cinema!!!u r the best!!!
-
cannot ever recognise his face!wow!... its like Jesus made him look alike only for the purpose of the film and them turned him back to normal
(do not feel offended, i do not say this in a bad way)
yes he was the best actor for Jesus.

Cavizel, Powell.....all Westernized Christs. For petesake Yeshua never looked like either of them. By the way, the lord was a an Easterner and NOT, I repeat NOT a Westerner. Yes, Israel is part of the territory that is geographically & politically known as West Asia. Israelis then dont look like the Israelis of today who appear more western due to intermarriage in Europe. Israelis then were more tanned and Mediterranean in outlook and not like 'Spielberg'.
