@MarquisInSpadez You're retarded. hella barely uses pedals and zach hill's drumming is way different than tera melos. Tera melos didn't rip off anybody, neither did hella. I never got too into Don Caballero because most of their songs are too slow for my taste. Hella may have been influenced by DC but what band doesnt have an influence?

@utbebrett Do you ever try and learn your favorite songs or songs by bands you like? Yeah, so does every other fucking kig that plays guitar. We don't want to copy the sounds he makes, or atleast I dont. I can only imagine how fun playing covers of their songs with the right effects on would be. Not only that, writing more songs usng pedals like nick has would be awesome. It's not like they only make one sound or can be used one way. Similar effects could be used to make even more aweomse shit.

You can't help it that people want to learn HOW somebone creates sounds like Nick does. That's how music evolves. You take something and evolve it. I guarantee you that there is a kid sitting in his room tinkering around with pedals trying to emulate te sounds and tones that Nick creates, who in a few years will take that knowledge and apply it to something incredibly new and fresh. And as for everyone that's just plain copying Nick, you don't have to listen.
