@MrChucknorris360 you can easily hunt the small deer species with 30 lbs bow, but if you want some of the larger ones 45-50lbs would be optimal.

actually thats not true, you will get better penetration with higher poundage, but ive seen video were a little girl took her first deer with somthing like 30 pounds and amazingly droped it! of course it was legal sinse the state they were in alowed it. I sure as hell would shoot a deer with that low of poundage but i was just saying
